With this agreement, Veterquimica will distribute Parofor® Crypto solution, a unique molecule for the treatment and control of bovine cryptosporidiosis, a disease that currently has a high prevalence in calves, conditioning their productive life in the future.

Parofor® Crypto is a molecule developed in Europe and is a leader in this market due to its high efficacy against Cryptosporidium parvum.
Recently in Chile, the Service of Agriculture and Livestock (SAG) granted registration of this product – SAG registration number 2573 – specifically for the treatment of bovine cryptosporidiosis.
In contrast to the molecule registered in Chile, this molecule is also registered against E. coli in Europe. For this reason, Veterquimica is working so that this indication is also accepted in our country in the future.
The product launch will take place today in Santiago, Tuesday the 16th in Los Angeles, and Wednesday the 17th in Osorno.
Regarding its importance, Luis Morales explained: “Cryptosporidium parvum parasite is an agent of great concern in dairies, and is the main cause of diarrhea in newborn calves, which directly affects the development of these future dairy cows.
