“Hopefully people will understand that bad things happen to good people,” Steinberg said.
Given the victim’s will, Steinberg said he expected the district attorney’s office to drop the charges.
The JuD will appear in the court for his next appearance on May 31.
The Broncos said on Thursday they were “aware of the matter.”
The Broncos’ 15th overall pick in 2020, Judy caught 38 passes for 467 yards last season. He was limited to 10 games after suffering a high ankle sprain.
