Number of complaints increased by 11.8%

Complaints and victims of gender violence increased in Spain by over 10 percent in the past year, according to the Observatory against Gender: Violence of the General Council of the Judiciary. Victims increased by 10.7% (to 176,380) and complaints by 11.8% in 2022 compared to 2021.
