Finally, on February 7, 2023, Google released its own AI technology, Bard. Google CEO Sundar Pichai introduced it in an official post, describing it as an AI conversational service capable of simplifying complex tasks and providing high-quality responsibilities.
Currently, it is only available to some test users, but it is expected to be released to the public soon.
In a blog post explaining the power of Bard, the CEO of Google stated: “Bard will be a creative outlet, a launch pad for answering questions.”
Bard is an AI chatbot similar to ChatGPT that uses the Linguistic Model for Google Alternatives Application (LaMDA). According to the company, the version of the lawsuit is LaMDA. This tool is designed to provide more difficult information in simple language, as well as current, high-quality, and accurate information.
LaMDA was designed by Google at the beginning of 2017 and is based on the Infiniset script, which is a mixture of content selected to improve the ability of the dialog model to be implemented. While the details of how Bard is trained are still unclear, the company is working on it to provide a better user experience.
