The Mexican National Team’s adventure in the World Baseball Classic ended on Monday night with a 6-5 defeat against the Japanese team, one of the favorites to win the championship.

The Aztec team, led by Benjamín Gil, made history in the Baseball World Cup by reaching the Semifinals and staying three away from qualifying for the Grand Final.
