What happened in Free Practice 1?
F1 canceled the First Free Practice Session of the first Las Vegas Grand Prix, just eight minutes after the start after the car incident in Carlos Sainz, a few moments later it was decided not to continue.
The reason why Sainz stopped after the chassis was damaged was due to a loose drain cover. This is rare, although it has happened in the past at other street circuits such as Monaco.
The Czech Prez overcame adversity
Sergio Prez felt great in the second free practice at the Las Vegas GP, where he finished fourth behind Leclerc, Sainz and Alonso. Monegasque pilot Charles led the session, which lasted ninety minutes, thirty more than normal.
