USC Update: The Trojans suffered another embarrassing home defeat, falling to Oregon State at the Coliseum for the first time since 1960. … USC’s offense was plagued by a dropped pass in the first half and was not able to ride the initial breakthrough after a fall in the opening hole. Four turnovers turned into 20 Oregon State Points. … the USC defense was defeated by the Beavers, who took a lead of 535 yards and went 35-3 after the Trojans took a 14-7 lead. The USC defense was no match for the loss. … After a relatively clean show the weekend before against Washington State, USC was flagged 11 times for a total of 98 yards. … USC came out of the game with no new injuries to report.

Colorado Update: Buffalo has struggled hard over the past two weeks, edging out opponents 65-13, including a 35-13 loss to Arizona State on Saturday. In that loss, Colorado had to rely almost entirely on its run game, running 44 times for 183 yards. Meanwhile, QB Brendan Lewis passed 7-for-17 for 67 yards. … In the season, Lewis has completed 52.1% of his passes for 313 yards, one TD and one interception while being dismissed 10 times. … Colorado is an all-time 0-14 against USC.
