In an email reply, he said, “After May 15, the company will not delete the accounts of those who do not update the policy. We will send customer notifications about the policy update in a few more weeks.” A spokesperson said that most of the customers had already updated their policies. Many could not do so due to lack of time and opportunity.
Last January, WhatsApp sent a policy update notification for its customers. The company has set a policy update deadline of February 8 to use the messaging app. According to WhatsApp, customers will benefit even more after the policy update. Even his ‘integration’ with Facebook will work. However, the customers did not believe the company’s talk. He fears that WhatsApp will share customer information with Facebook.
