New Delhi: Last week WhatsApp revealed several new features. The expansion of the voice calling feature was one of the primary features on that list. WhatsApp can now handle 32 people in voice calls. This is a significant increase compared to the previous 8 participants. During the peak of the pandemic, WhatsApp increased the limit for group voice and video calling to 8. Only a phone call will provide support for 32 people.
The update is being rolled out for Google Android and Apple iOS users. WhatsApp’s FAQ page has been modified to reflect the increased limit. According to the new FAQ section, “Group calling allows up to 32 users to make voice calls with each other using WhatsApp.” The new call restriction is also available for Apple users. According to the App Store listing, the new update supports 32 participants.

When you receive a group voice call, the incoming WhatsApp group voice call screen will display the members who are currently on the call, along with the participant who mentioned you earlier. The ‘Calls’ page will display the history of group voice calls. You can view individual participants from the call by tapping Call History. If missed calls are still active, you can join them.

Both Facebook and Instagram will be used to inspire the event. Most people used to reply to SMS and media by sending only one reply. Users will now be allowed to use emoji to reply to the same message. People can express themselves faster without needing to send tons of new texts.
file sharing
WhatsApp has increased the file sharing limit to 2 GB. WhatsApp says they are doing this to make it easier for people to work together on a project. Ahead of the official launch, more details about the file format will be published.
admin control
Administrators will have more control over their respective groups. Messages that are incorrect or inappropriate will be removed from everyone’s chats by the group administrators. Limits and, if any, exceptions will be published later.
