Meanwhile, receive the 2023 Christmas Bonus public sector employees hired in plant or contract positions of the following institutions mentioned in article 2, 3, 5 and 6 according to article 8 of Law No. 21,526, which is as follows:

  • State universities.
  • Preschool education establishments funded by JUNJI.
  • Institutions recognized as collaborators of Sename or its legal successor.
  • Legal Aid Corporations.
  • Tax and customs courts.
  • Workers in companies and state entities without collective bargaining.
  • Public education assistants and/or education professionals working in educational establishments rely on local public education services.
  • Shipyards and Navy Shipyards.
  • Sectors of State Administration transferred to municipalities.
  • Private educational establishments supported by the State.
  • Professional Technical Education Establishment.

  • IPS pensioners: They received a base amount of $26,734 weights and lifts $15,104 pesos for each person accredited as a family dependent on November 30, 2023.
  • Public employees: According to Law No. 21,526, the amount of bonus for public employees is:
    • $63,062 for wage earners less than the equivalent of $943,703 pesos
    • $33,358 for wage earners more than $943,703 pesos.

It is important to mention that the Private sector employees will receive a Christmas Bonus if any of the following situations are met:

  • This is contemplated in your employment contract.
  • There is a contract or collective agreement where the bonus is included as a clause.
  • The employer made this concession on the previous occasion, because it was considered a tacit clause in the contract (protected by labor regulations).
