The Benito Juárez Scholarship program is a financial support aimed at children under 18 years old, attending preschool, elementary or secondary school, whose families receive low income and who are enrolled in public schools in formal way.
The support is 875 pesos per month and those who want to receive the scholarship must ensure that the schools they attend are among those classified in coordination.
In recent days, the authorities reported that the third payment of the Benito Juárez Scholarship will begin to be dispersed in October. This corresponds to September, October, November and December, so the amount deposited will be 3,500 pesos.
If you study at upper secondary or higher level, the deposit will start to be made from November, as shown on the website.
How do you know if the Benito Juárez Scholarship has been deposited?
To check when the third payment will be deposited, you must enter the website and follow this route: go to the section ”Scholarships Issued”, year 2023 and click on Third Issuance. Your payment date will appear.
If you do not have a Banco Bienestar card, within the same website you must go to the Banked section of the Status Finder. There they will share with you when and where to deliver your plastic in October.
The last dates for Benito Juárez Scholarship registration are September 24 to 30: Baja California, Durango, State of Mexico, Morelos, Nuevo León, San Luis Potosí, Sinaloa and Zacatecas.
How do you register your child for Benito Juárez scholarships?
- Fill out the Incorporation Request Form at this link.
- Fill out the Unique Identification Card, which consists of a questionnaire where the school and socioeconomic information of the minor and his family are given.
- The Benito Juárez Scholarship coordination will inform the families rejected and those accepted within the process.
- Once the approval of the scholarships for basic education is confirmed, go to the appointment on the day it is announced.
