The Eternal Rivals of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League meet for the first time this 2023–24 season. Navegantes del Magallanes will visit the Simón Bolívar Monumental Stadium to face Leones del Caracas.
The two teams have the same record of 2-2, and coincidentally, Leones and Magallanes won both of their away games and lost both of their home games.
The long-haired team has Albert Suárez on the mound as a starter. In his previous outing, Suárez showed himself well by pitching 4.0 innings and allowing only one hit. In the case of the nautical team, Erick Leal will be in charge of opening the game. In his first performance of the campaign, he received two stripes in 4.0 periods of work.
The particular lifetime series between Navegantes del Magallanes and Leones del Caracas was dominated by the buccaneer team, with 364 victories against the metropolitans and 346 losses. In the last 10 seasons, Magallanes won the particular series in six campaigns. However, in the final game, the Lions won the series by defeating the Turks in six of the eight games played.
