The National Water Commission (Conagua) warned of the Diez Tropical Depression off the coast of Quintana Roo.
At 3:00 p.m., the center of the tropical depression was 105 kilometers northeast of Cozumel, Quintana Roo.
Its cloud bands will result in cloudy skies and steady rainfall in the Yucatan and Quintana Roo, as well as strong winds and waves on Quintana Roo’s north-central coast and northeastern Yucatan.
It is expected to move southwest on its trajectory at night, causing heavy rains in Campeche and the Yucatán.
