Why were four people from Stillwater St. Paul killed and left in a cornfield in Wisconsin? “This is the mystery,” Dad said.

Menomone, Wisconsin-Why did four friends from the Twin Cities die of gun violence after they found their bodies in an abandoned vehicle in a cornfield in western Wisconsin?

“This is the mystery,” Damone Presley Sr. said, his daughter Nitosha Lee Flug-Presley was killed. “Hopefully we can get the answer through the survey.”

Stillwater’s 30-year-old Flug-Presley and her lifelong friend Jasmine Christine Sturm, 30, are from São Paulo. Presley said that one of the men who died in the car, 26-year-old São Paulo Matthew Isiah Petus, was Sturm’s brother. Loyace Foreman III, 35 years old, from São Paulo, is Sturm’s boyfriend.

They were in a bar in São Paulo on Saturday night. On Sunday, a farmer found the black SUV about 65 miles east of Dunn County, Wisconsin.

Dunn County Sheriff Kevin Bygd (Kevin Bygd) said that the authorities believe they died within 24 hours of being discovered. He said that there is no known connection between Dunn County and the four.

“We believe this is where these victims were taken randomly,” Bygd said.

The sheriff announced on Tuesday that no one had been arrested. Bygd said the investigation included investigating the victims’ acquaintances. “At this point, everyone is a suspect,” he added.

Bygd said there is no indication that the quadruple homicides involved drugs or organized criminal activities, but he said that the investigation may uncover more information about the motives.

FBI spokesman Kevin Smith said that the FBI Minneapolis field office is assisting the sheriff’s office. If it is determined that these four people were killed in Minnesota, it is likely to be a joint investigation with the FBI.

Saturday night in St.Paul Bar

Before the friend was killed, they were hanging out together at the São Paulo bar on Saturday night, and then they drove away with someone, Presley said he could piece together things.

“Why is this?” he said on Tuesday. “…It doesn’t make sense.”

According to Begged of Sheridan Township, about 30 minutes north of Menomoney, the SUV was deliberately driven about 50 yards off the road into the cornfield. At around 2:15 pm on Sunday, Dunn County Emergency Communication Center found the car after receiving a 911 call.

“Apart from the possibility of driving out of the twin cities at random, we could not find any contact with the area,” Bygd said.

The sheriff said he suspected that the perpetrator was left in another vehicle. The Dunn County Sheriff’s Office previously stated that there may be a second dark SUV driving with the abandoned vehicle, and Bigeard said on Tuesday that they are still working to determine the validity of the information.

The sheriff also stated that investigators did not disclose who the registrant of the abandoned SUV was.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the Ramsey County Forensic Medical Office conducted an autopsy, and preliminary information showed that everyone died of gunshot wounds.

Bygd said he believes the suspect is not from the area.

“We can’t suspect that someone locally killed four people randomly from Twin Cities,” he added.

Bygd said they got good information from the prompts and encouraged people to continue to provide this information.

According to Bygd, investigators will check highway and bridge cameras in the area. St. Paul police homicide investigators will provide assistance upon request, and the Minnesota Criminal Arrest Bureau is also involved.

“For this area, this is very unusual,” Bygd said. “Obviously, we have had homicides in the past few years, but for a matter of this scale, I am working for Dunn County for the 33rd year. This is the first time.”

Remember their lives

The four people killed were mothers and fathers.

Loyas Foreman’s mother, Jessica, described him as “the faithful father of two great sons.”

“He is the doting uncle of four nieces and nephews,” she added. “He is the protector of his three sisters. He is not perfect. We love him unconditionally. He left a void that cannot be filled.”

His mother said that Foreman was an independent demolition contractor and liked hand-painted art.

“The family believes that justice will be served and begs the public to come forward when they see or hear anything,” said Foreman’s sister Ashley Jones.

Matthew Pettus was supposed to start college courses, but just started working at the Shamrock Grill Bar on West Seventh Street in Sao Paulo. His sister Jasmine Sturm is a long-term waiter at Shamrocks, but since she got a job in a law firm, she has reduced her working hours.

Presley said Nitosha Flug-Presley’s family knew what was wrong when they couldn’t reach her on Sunday, and her mobile phone would go directly to voicemail. He said her 4-year-old and 11-year-old children were “very painful.”

“She is an extrovert, a very good mother, a special daughter,” Presley said. “She is very energetic, she has a kind heart, a person who can lift your spirits up.”

Peace activist KG Wilson has been a friend of Presley for many years and stood by his side when speaking to the media on Tuesday. Wilson’s 6-year-old granddaughter, Ania Allen, died after being shot in Minneapolis in May. He said he and Presley shed tears on Monday night.

“He is angry, I am angry for him,” Wilson said. “…We don’t know how it happened, what happened, who it was, but no matter who it is, we all want justice. We hope that person, that kind of monster, will leave the streets as soon as possible.”
