Many WWE fans are looking forward to the return of The Hugger, who could turn the tables with his return at SummerSlam. Although WWE fans have speculated about his return since this year’s Royal Rumble, WWE has made no move to bring back the Grand Slam champion. However, recent reports suggest the return of the multi-time champion at SummerSlam.
Recently, Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported Bailey to WWE over the SummerSlam weekend in Nashville.
“For those who have asked about Bayley’s status and when she is set to return to WWE programming, PWInsider.com has learned that she is due in Nashville for SummerSlam weekend. The Post-Thunderdome Era. Bailey has been out of action since last summer after tearing his ACL while working out at the WWE Performance Center to prepare for the company’s return to the live crowd in the U.S. Johnson wrote. The former SmackDown Women’s Champion has been out of action since July 2021 following a torn ACL injury at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando. Since then, she has been on the sidelines until her recovery last year but WWE did not call her for a possible return.

WWE SummerSlam 2022: Will Bayley face Bianca Belair at SummerSlam?
Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair will face Becky Lynch at SummerSlam. However, if WWE’s EST retains their title at SummerSlam, Bayley may return to face the Champion to resume their feud. Although the match between Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair has an uneven ending, many fans are hoping that Bianca Belair will retain her title.
Last year, Bailey had a feud with Bianca Belair and was set to face her at MITB 2021. Unfortunately, his injury halted the fight midway. This time, if Bayley returns, she could face the RAW Women’s Champion or the winner or SmackDown Women’s Champion, as she belongs to the Blue brand.
